Learn To Play Irish Traditional Music
At Ceol Tracks, we believe
everyone learning Irish music deserves to have the best resources available to them.
With our easy-to-read sheet music, you’ll be playing Irish music in no time. Careful consideration has gone into making Irish music accessible to many. Learning a tune was traditionally by ear. Another tradition was to write down the ABC notes of a tune. The lines and dots were never really used because of the time needed to learn music theory. We have designed in our opinion the ideal sheet music layout for traditional players. Each tune is laid out on a single page in staff notation. under each staff are the ABC note names following the old tradition. and there is a chord progression above the staff for harmony players.
